FAN Host Peacemaking Retreat in Colorado Springs

June 12 and 13, 2009, the Franciscan Action Network brought the team of Ken Preston (top left), Russ Testa (top right) and Peter Sloan (bottom left) to Mount St. Francis in Colorado Springs to conduct a Franciscan Peacemaking retreat.
The Franciscan tradition of peacemaking is an integral part of the larger global peacemaking experience. Franciscans and Franciscan-hearted people bring more than 800 years of peacemaking practice to conflict and violence.
The conference was attended by individuals from around the country. Participants explored and deepened their commitment to being "instruments of peace," through prayer, faith reflection, and skills training.
